I was born and raised in the Midwest. A small town in the SW burbs of Chicago. I moved down to SW Florida in 2005 to start new. I've always had a passion for the craft but was afraid I wouldn't be good enough. It wasn't until my late 30's I was sitting at my current job knowing there had to be more. Thanks to Facebook jobs, I saw there was a quilt shop closer to home, hiring. Thinking I had nothing to lose, I gave them a call. The owner was extremely friendly but asked the dreaded question. Do you know how to operate a sewing machine? See, machines and I didn't get a long. I was honest and told the truth. I was offered an interview and while taking a pay cut, I was offered the position. Little did I know that it would forever change my life. It wasn't without obstacles. I would sit in front of the machines with the instruction manual, afraid I would break the machine. After all, knowing the history machines and I had. The owner told me if I were to break the machine, they have a technician on staff that can fix it. So, little by little, and years later, I learned there's nothing that I can't accomplish. They have since retired and I decided to start my own online, offering the highest customer service with products at reasonable prices.We are a small family-like business based in the US.
