Terms and Conditions

Here at our shipping department has a strong background in their accuracy and processing in stock orders same business day. We are located in SW Florida and operate on EST.

We strive to offer the lowest pricing and best customer service. So, we are trying something new: to help keep costs down, and keep the free shipping at $49, ordering will be done on Saturdays/Sundays. With the increase in minimums, and shipping from our vendors, we are no longer, at this time, able to place daily orders, unless warranted. We apologize as we do not want to raise the cost of our prices.

Shopping made easy
We take a vast amount of secure payment options for your convenience. In addition, we’re making looking for parts that fit your machine easy. If you hover over “Parts,” find the make of your machine, locate the button with your model, and once you click, a page will open with parts available for your machine. Please note, due to the extensive amount of parts each machine takes, parts are slowly being added to it’s perspective machine page. We also offer a wide option of notions, embroidery threads, and fabric to keep your projects going without hesitation. If there is a part/notion/accessory you are looking for, please contact us and we will do our best to look for the best price and add it to our site for purchase.

Shopping with us
Reasonable prices. A growing selection. Dedicated employees. Pricing: Our prices are very competitive due to using a formula based on our cost, not basing it off of who sells it for more. Selection: We listen to you, the consumer, for your wants and needs. With our employees backgrounds, we know what is needed the most. Offering numerous options not limited to: thread, feet, needles, blades, and other accessories for your machine whether it’s a sewing, quilting, embroidery or multi needle machine. Let’s not forget sergers! Dedicated employees: during business hours, orders are imported daily, most times multiple times a day. Most in stock items are processed the same day for shipping.

Our site – ordering online
We’ve made our website user friendly. Easy add to cart buttons without leaving the page you’re on. The cart display shows you how many items you’ve added and cost before shipping and taxes. When you checkout, you can either checkout as a guest, or create a profile. In your profile you can look back on your past orders to view what you’ve ordered and what you may need to order. For example: you couldn’t remember which needles you ordered. Simply go to past orders and view the needles you ordered previously. Taking the guess work out of which needles you need to reorder.

Adding to orders:
If your order has not been packaged to ship, you are allowed to place another order, and we will refund shipping.

Minimum Order Placements:
As much as we’d love you to buy more, we know that you may only need a certain item. So, there is no minimum order requirement. Free shipping remains on orders $49 or greater.

Accepted Payments:
All major credit cards and Paypal. We now offer Apply Pay and Google. We are working to add Synchrony. For credit card orders, the proper billing address information must be entered. If your credit card billing address does not match the account on file, there may be a delay while the order is being reviewed to ensure there is no fraud. PayPal requires that any order is shipped to the address that the PayPal account is registered to. PayPal does not permit the use of separate bill-to and ship-to addresses (a reason why is not an option for a different ship to, if paying via Paypal). If you need to place an order that you need shipped to a secondary location (e.g.: winter address, your family member, your sewing friend,…) please use a credit card.

Affirm, Sezzle, Klarna and others: We have looked into those services and are working to provide them. So, we will provide a layaway service. We are working on the terms and conditions.

Gift Cards and Gift Orders:
When placing an order that’s being gifted – put in the note section that it is a “gift” and we will place a packing list without prices. This can also be used by business owners who do not want their employees to see their prices. Gift cards: range from $10 – $100 (USD). We are adding gift wrapping options.

Phone Orders:
We are working on being able to have orders placed via phone. At this time, for your protection, all orders must be placed via our secured website. 

Special Orders:
Certain special orders are ONLY returnable with an RMA code. Special order means it is something we do not regularly carry at the moment. Orders are placed almost daily with our vendors/suppliers. Your special order item(s) are ordered on the next purchase order we place with that vendor/supplier. All special orders WILL be subject to a cancellation fee.

Processing your order:
Orders are imported first thing each business morning and if possible, multiple times throughout the day. If you place your order Sunday afternoon, we will receive it first thing Monday morning. Orders with in stock items will be packaged and placed for shipping the same day the order was imported. We are closed Sundays and all major holidays. Slight delays may happen if the order volume is higher than normal.

Checking your order:
You will receive an email when your order is placed and an email with tracking when shipped. For your convenience, if we need to contact you about your order, we will update the comment section, which will send you out an email and you are able to respond to the email.
Tracking numbers may not be available on drop-shipments.

Contact us for availability/Backorders:
Special orders and “Contact us for availability,” are items we currently do not keep in our current stock. Special orders are items the vendor/supplier normally carry and are usually in stock, we just don’t have the space to carry it. “Contact us for availability,” are items that need to be checked through the vendors/suppliers to see if they have the item(s) in stock. When a supplier runs out of an item, it could take weeks before they receive a supply from the manufacturer. Unfortunately this is out of our control and when we’re made aware we will update the item on our site.

Backorders – means it’s something that hasn’t come in yet, or can be ordered on our daily purchase orders.

USPS visits us daily for package pick-up (excluding USPS holidays). Transit-time for USPS Priority Mail is generally 2-3 business days to any location within the continental USA. USPS, while being very reliable, does not guarantee an exact delivery date. Please track your package on the USPS website using the tracking number provided. Packages that are ready to ship after the pick-up will be brought to the nearest USPS drop off site. Refer to your email for your tracking number to track your shipment. USPS Priority Mail generally takes 2-3 businesses days for your package to be delivered. International Shipments has a transit time of 10-14 business days. Shipping via USPS, Priority Mail qualifies for insurance coverage up to $50.00. Shipping via UPS automatically insures up to $100.00. If you would like to insure your package for more, please contact us for a quote.

New Zealand – MySewingSource is not in any way affiliated with YouShop. Once YouShop has taken possession of the package, MySewingSource is not responsible for any lost or misguided packages. Using this service will be at your own risk.

We have been asked a lot about faster and other shipping services. There are now various options for UPS. Just like USPS, you will be sent a tracking number.

Other Shipping information:
International customers are solely responsible for paying any duty and/or import taxes. We are not in control of the cost of duty and/or import taxes that a country charges. Any and all orders placed and then are abandoned, due to failing to pay the duty/ and or import taxes, will not qualify nor be eligible for a RMA for a refund. At some point the customs department’s will consider the parcel, “abandoned,” and will dispose of it. Any abandoned package that is sent back to us, the cost of shipping and a service fee will apply. Please check your countries customs, duty, and/or import tax polices and rates prior to placing an order to avoid any extra costs they may involve. 

Transit Delays:
Either USPS or UPS, may experience delays. While both USPS and UPS have a very good histories of delivering shipments on time, things can happen. Once a package leaves MySewingSource, any delays thereafter, are not the fault of MySewingSource. As customers ourselves, we do understand frustrations. USPS shipments call (800) 222-1811, UPS shipments call (800) 742-5877 (800-PICK-UPS). Please use your tracking number as reference when speaking to the appropriate shipping source. If for some reason a delay is found by the carrier from the an incorrect or undeliverable address, the package will likely return to us. We will contact you immediately. Also, unforeseen delays that are beyond our control include but not limited to: holidays, acts of mother nature, winter storms, hurricanes, floods, etc.

Damages during shipping:
Any damage or loss occurred during transit is the sole responsibility of the carrier. Any claims may only be made if said coverage was placed. You must notify us by phone as soon as the damage was received. Keeping the box and all the packing material will be needed for carrier inspection. Damage is very minimal due to packaging orders securely and with care to avoid shipping damage. Since any damages are beyond our control, any packages with damage or item(s) missing during transit, a claim will need to be made with the appropriate carrier.

Returning an item:
You have 10 business days of receipt to request an RMA number. Not including non-returnable items. Email us requesting an RMA # and the reason why. Please don’t forget to include your order number. Any returned package without an RMA # will not be accepted. A valid RMA # must be on the outside of the package. All products shipped must be present when we process your package. Depending on the reason for the return, a return label may or may not be provided. After your return is processed, you will be credited back via your original form of payment. What may not be refunded: Shipping charges, and if you return an item that was part to receive free shipping, you may be required to pay shipping. So, please inquire before requesting an RMA #. An exchange may take place only if the item is for the same or greater value, and $5.99 shipping is paid.

Items that are not eligible for a refund:
As follows: special orders, patterns, templates, electrical parts, software, memory cards, CDs, DVDs, foot controls, fabric, patterns, books, broken items, items missing parts or their original packaging, items not in a re-sellable condition, used thread or stabilizer, and discounted or close-out items at the time of purchase. Items that can be duplicated (against copyright laws) in any fashion cannot be returned. Embroidery designs, which are classified as software, are not returnable–please confirm an item includes the format that is compatible with your machine before ordering.
The delicate nature of electrical parts there is no return and/or refund on electrical parts. Please double check you are purchasing the exact part that you need prior to placing your order. Any questions on which part or to make sure you are looking at the right part, please email us. Please include the make and model of your machine, and which part you are needing to replace/purchase. Included in this section are electrical parts. Electrical parts shall be listed as any part that has electricity pass through it e.g.: light bulbs, circuit boards, foot controls, power cords, etc. Foot controls, if you believe your foot control has gone out please have your machine tested before taking the chance of ordering a foot control because it will not be returnable if that wasn’t the issue.

Cancelling your order:
Once an order is delivered, out for delivery, in transit, ordered (for special orders), and/or shipping label printed, it cannot be cancelled. As we take pride in getting orders out in a swift manner, emailing your cancellation request is the quickest method to reach us. Please choose the, cancel my order, and put your order number and reason why for cancellation.

Why your order was canceled by us:
We only cancel orders under the following reasons:
-If an order imported has a freight-forwarding company, the order will be cancelled.
-Shipping to a country that’s not your billing address.
-Changing the shipping address after paying with Paypal. This is against Paypal terms of service.
-For any other reason, we will contact you.

Contact us or Inquire more for availability:
Some items, prices change frequently or due to the demand, we have to check with our vendor/supplier if the amount you want to order is in stock. Please, let us stress, our vendors are more than awesome with getting us our products in a timely manner. If it’s an item that suddenly is hot, they may have had it in stock last week, but this week, they’re running low on the product. We can then check other vendors to see if they have the product and get you the amount that you need.

PO or Purchase Order Numbers request:
If you are a company or organization and need a PO attached to your sale, that’s not an issue. Let us know in the note section. We will place a packing slip with or without prices per your request.

Discount retail orders:
While we pride on having the most competitive prices, we may be able to work with you if you have a decent size order. If you’re looking to place an order, please email us. Prices and free shipping may change according to vendor/supplier. Payment for any order is due before order.

Each product warranty is provided and honored by the product manufacturers warranty and not by MySewingSource. The warranties are handled directly between you, the customer, and the manufacturer. There are very rare occasions to where we will handle the warranty claim.

Your security / Fraud intervention:
All our sales transactions are encrypted with the latest technology to insure all transactions are safe and secure. Our staff reviews all transaction before pulling your order. For all PayPal transactions, we verify the user and their shipping address. For credit card transactions if the security code and billing address do not match the credit card company reports to us as “match” or “not matched.” We go above and beyond to prevent fraud and your security is safe with us. We also reserve the right to cancel any order that is flagged either by PayPal or the credit card company.

Our Privacy Policy Promise:
We will never sell or share our customer information, including but not limited to mailing/email lists. Any and all information is secure and confidential. Unless we are speaking with the account holder, we will never share anyone’s account with anyone other than the account holder.

General Disclaimers:
We work hard to provide the best possible experience with us. Our team makes every effort to ensure that the product on our website contains accurate product specifications and current pricing. We work hard to prevent any errors. Errors are part of the inevitable. We take all information either the machine’s user manual or manufacturers website. If there is an error we have overlooked, please let us know and we will fix it right away to make it right. When it comes to pricing, we reserve the right at our discretion to cancel the order. We sincerely apologize. We are a small company and depending on what the cost difference is, we will not be able to fulfill the order at the price. We will have the price changed and you will be able to reorder it at the correct price.

State of emergency or pandemic:
During global pandemics, either on the national level, state, or other local emergencies, any terms or notices will be posted to our homepage and will trump that of those on this page.

All fabric sales are final. Please take into account monitors and/or phones may display a different hue tone. In addition that each bolt comes from a different dye lot. For example: Moda Grunge – you order 5 yards. We only have 2 in stock. We will wait for a new bolt to arrive to give you 5 continuous yards. The last bolt may just be a slight variation, even though it’s the same sku/color number. Dye lots can vary from bolt to bolt. Your screen may show a slightly different huge than the original fabric. We try our best to take the best pictures to show the true colors.

Please keep in mind, to keep our prices low and competitive, we do not have a very large staff compared to other companies. We are not Amazon or a 24 hour warehouse. Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST and Saturday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm EST.
